Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Do you require a built-in Air Fry mode as well as Slow Cook?
The exact page/manual document an Air Fry program with a separate lid and basket; it is a different stage from Slow Cook, not simultaneous operation.
Explore this need in the finder →Do you specifically want a separate, dedicated Air Fry lid?
The 113-0043-01 kit has a pressure/Slow Cook lid and a separate Air Fry lid. That second lid needs storage and a swap; it is not a second cooking zone.
Explore this need in the finder →Is an 8-quart main pot enough if its Slow Cook timer tops out at 24 hours?
The exact main-pot capacity is eight quarts; the R12 Slow Cook table has a 24-hour control ceiling. This does not constitute a recipe recommendation.
Explore this need in the finder →The Instant Pot Pro Crisp & Air Fryer 8QT Multi-Use Pressure Cooker and Air Fryer (113-0043-01) is an eight-quart multicooker with two distinct lids. The pressure-cooking lid is used for Slow Cook and pressure functions; the dedicated air-fry lid serves the air-fryer functions. That design adds a real second cooking method, but also a large part to store and swap. It does not make air frying and Slow Cook one simultaneous program.

The Slow Cook plan uses the pressure lid, not the air-fry lid
The model-linked U.S. manual describes Slow Cook as a non-pressure program and directs the user to set steam release to Vent or use a vented glass lid. It uses the pressure-cooking lid for this program. The default Slow Cook temperature is High and the default duration is four hours; the time can be selected from 30 minutes to 24 hours. Low or High are the listed temperature options. Keep Warm is on by default after the cycle, with a displayed limit of ten hours. These are the manual’s settings, not recipe recommendations or a guarantee that food should stay on Warm that long.
There is an important uncertainty if you plan to delay the cycle. The manual’s general Delay Start section lists Slow Cook among the programs with a delay, but its Slow Cook settings page says Delay Start is not available. Because those instructions disagree, do not rely on a delayed Slow Cook start as an essential feature. If that scheduling function is non-negotiable, select a model with an unambiguous, exact-model instruction instead. A delayed start would also not be the same as choosing a desired dinner-finish time.
Air frying is a separate routine with different parts
The 113-0043-01 product page lists 11 cooking functions: Pressure Cook, Air Fry, Slow Cook, Steam, Sauté, Sous Vide, Roast, Bake, Broil, Dehydrate and Keep Warm. It also names 11 customizable one-touch options. The manual gives the air-fry lid its own instructions and uses a multi-level air-fry basket, base and broil/dehydrating tray. The pressure lid and air-fry lid are separate; moving between their routines means changing lids and handling more accessories. A lid swap is a practical benefit for someone who wants two appliance types in one base, but a poor fit if you have little storage room or want the simplest possible slow-cooker cleanup.
The product page lists a stainless-steel inner pot, dishwasher-safe pressure lid and inner pot, 1,500 watts at 120 volts and 60 Hz, UL/ULC listing and a one-year limited warranty. Closed dimensions are 14.78 inches long, 14.24 wide and 14.17 high. The page does not give open-lid clearance. Leave room for the pressure lid and consider where the larger air-fry lid can cool and be stored. The exact sources do not establish external stovetop, induction, oven or broiler use for the removable pot; an in-base Sauté program is not proof of outside heat compatibility.
When the Crisp earns its space
This is a plausible fit if you actually want both a non-pressure Slow Cook routine and a separate air-fry option, and are comfortable with the eight-quart body, extra lid and added cleaning steps. The Slow Cook maximum is 24 hours, so it does not meet a requirement for a selectable ceiling above 24 hours. Its control panel has program buttons, a display and status lights, but the exact page/manual do not document the Pro’s five programmable Favorite keys or the Duo Plus V4’s step-by-step recipe prompts. App-based cooking control is not established for this SKU.
Compare the Pro 8QT 113-0044-01 if longer Slow Cook timer flexibility and five physical Favorites matter more than built-in air frying; it uses one lid and its family manual permits a 99-hour-30-minute Slow Cook setting. Compare a dedicated air fryer plus slow cooker if you prefer to keep each appliance’s storage and cooking routine separate. The product page’s air-fry capability is not a test of crispness, speed or cooking capacity, so do not treat the eight-quart main-pot label as an air-fry basket size or an independent performance rating.
Before deciding, read the exact Instant Pot Pro Crisp page for SKU 113-0043-01 and the linked R12 U.S. manual. Use the Slow Cook-specific instructions, not the separate air-fry or pressure-cooking directions, when planning a slow-cooked meal.
